Deadly - Photostat Machine

If you haven't read my first blog about this band I suggest that you do.

This album has been giving me life ever since it was released and can't stop playing it. If you're a synth pop, electro pop or better yet a Depeche Mode fan then look no further more. Photostat Machine is the band you're looking for. If you take a listen to the older stuff it is very different from this album. It's like they wanted a new and fresh sound to what they're use to doing, I think this was a great move on their behalf. Every song on this album is amazing but the one that has been the my favorite is "Fallen".

I can sit here and rant about them, but I think that it's better that you just listen to them and judge for yourself. So down below are links to their SoundCloud,BandCamp and other networking sites.

SPECTRA

This singer, actress, and model is living the dream that many wish were. I've gotten a glimpse of who she is as a person and she's the most amazing person I've meet over the internet thus far. Her goals and dreams are big and she's making it happen. She's like a tiger ready for the kill and I suggest you watch your back because she's about to go on thee attack. I first came across her not to long ago on twitter when she caught my eye as she was twitting a fellow YouTuber from Texas (THE-GAY-BEANER). So I checked her out and fell in love with her, yes that's right love at first sight lol! She won me over when I heard her single BAD MONEY, she had me twerking my ass. Needless to say from that day I've been a fan and can't wait to see what's to come in the next few months. She's been vocal about releasing a music video for BAD MONEY and looking for artist and producers to work with. To keep up with this up and coming artist please follow, add, & like her. I promise there will be an interview in the near future, there's so much to know of Spectra.

Leticia Con Z

Leticia Con Z is a spanish group that composes comedy, electronic, & pop music. This band was form in the early 2000's, and throughout the years they have released various singles and collaborated with many artist. I want to say I discovered this band about 2 years ago and fell in love with them when I heard their first single Curry y Melocotón. As you all may know in my last blog I wrote about La Prohibida a drag queen from Spain and how much she is my idol and the inspiration in my music. She did a LiveStream online show where she brings on a special guest to do the LiveStream with. It so happen that the lead singer of Leticia Con Z was thee special guest and was very excited to know that they had collaborated together. The name of this song is called Tres Gardenias and there are 2 versions of this song. One being indie electronica with a hint of flamenco and the 2nd being very spanish bulero flamenco. The way this band infuse all those sounds is amazing, which is why many underground artist want to work with them like myself lol! With the 2 song's I've talked about I would like to list a few more for you guys to check. Starting with El Ultimo Ser Vivo featuring Moni Morticia it's a dark pop song, Cinema, Untouchable featuring Dj Trikinosis this song is very electro pop, Cutiful Sadness featuring Drian Dreamer & Aldana and this song is a club hit, and my new favorite of theirs' El Rey De Europa. If you don't know spanish no need to worry because they also sing in english and not only that, but their music is sure to make you want to dance. Like I always say you don't need to take my word for it just check them out for yourself. I'm hoping that Leticia Con Z releases a full length album in the near future "cough" "cough" (^_^) . I'm happy to announce that the band and I are in the works on recording a song together so keep a look out for that soon 2013!

La Prohibida

La Prohibida an international drag diva from Spain. She has become a big sensation throughout latin America and the US. In 2005 she released her single and first album titled FLASH, which was the song that put her on the map. Her music video for flash has over 1 million hits and continues to rise till this day. She released a few other videos from her album like NO BUSQUES COMPAÑIA, LABIOS DE HIEL, & EN LA PARDE. This album was very experimental having everything from tech-pop, electronica, to a slow romantic bald track. In 2006 she released another music video titled EN PLAN TRAVESTI which was another hit but not from the album. In 2008 she presented her song ONE WAY INTERRAIL to Eurovision to represent Spain, sadly she was not given the chance to represent Spain in Eurovision.

In 2009 she released her second album SR. KUBRICK ¿QUE HARIA USTED? A year after she released a music video titled TERECHKOVA following a second video called CUANDO DOS ELECTRONES CHOCAN, it is said she would be releasing a 3rd video for this album but no date has been set to be released.

Knowing the international diva that she is and traveling Europe she headed out to France in 2010 or 2011 to record 3 songs for an ep she had set on releasing in 2012. While doing so she recorded a music video and released it back in 2011. The name of the song is MA CULOTTE SERA TA TOMBA and it's a synth pop kind of track and I have to say it reminds me of the 80's song Fade to Grey by Visage, a band ahead of it's time and timeless if you ask me. Unfortunately she didn't release the ep do to editing purposes and wanting it to be in her eyes "perfection". Like any artist out there they want to release something everyone will like and with that comes perfection from the lyrics, vocals, to the editing of the project and it's final product. I think its worth the wait and it only means once we hear it, it will be mind blowing. Everything she does is amazing and as an artist she carries herself very well and is a great example of what a talented queen is and should be.

I've had the great pleasure to have meet her the few times she has come out to Los Angeles doing a tour in Cali. La Prohibida has touched my life and influenced so much in the my music I create today and the love for the underground artist. I would like to proclaim myself and I think she knows that I am her number 1 fan and will continue to be.

We all have our own taste in music and sometimes we like an artist and sometimes we don't and then there are times when they grown on us.

Smiley Vyrus - The Unfolded Conspiracy

Smiley Vyrus has released an EP titled "The Unfolded Conspiracy" I think his best yet.  When I heard Secret Agent Heizberg I fell in love, it's right up my aisle. You have to take a listen and make your judgement yourself, but I know without a doubt you will be gagging for more. This EP sends me into another world, into outer space. I've had the pleasure to have him remix one of my songs in my latest Remix album. So talented I can't wait to see what his next move is, and what he will bring to our ears ;D

Photostat Machine

Photostat Machine is this electro synth pop band from the great UK. They have this Depeche Mode/SoftCell/Ersure/Visage feel to them, very 80's but then again isn't that were the synth sound comes from. I remember discovering them on Sound Cloud when looking for new artist to listen to. As soon as I listened to their music I was hooked. Like I've said before I'm addicted to underground artists and really don't listen to mainstream pop but I do keep up with the music. I'm definitely more into the pop scene now that electronica and dance has take the US by storm. Once you listen to their music I'm sure you'll become a fan of there's. Just to name a few of my favorites like: Nothing Song, Something I know, Lately, Epic Fall, Rollover Die, & The Final Insult a few of the song I picked from their 3rd LP titled Preview/Transmission released in June 2012. My advice to you if you haven't already is to go check them out on Sound Cloud and Band Camp. Just a little heads up they're coming out with a new album soon and I can't wait. There's so much to know about this band and I think an interview with this duo is well over due on my end I think. With that said, I need not say more but that you need to head over to BandCamp stream and download a few of their songs. It's worth every penny I promise you, also Photostat Machine and I collaborated on a track I created and it turned out amazing. Barry Brandon

ATL'S night life starlet, he is a singer, song writer and promoter. He has recorded and released his first album titled ETCETERA (a collection of songs he's done over the years). This album has a alternative electro pop feel to it with great songs like Where Do I Go From Here, I.D.N.U., Electroglamourous Play Me On (Remix), Remember, & Back Where We Began just to name a few of my favorites on there. He has over come hard obstacles life has thrown at him and has worked hard to get where he is now. With the release of this album he has also started a new project called Sing For Your Life a web talent show on Youtube. It's like American Idol but more like ATL Idol, you can catch it every Thursday 8:00pm EST. This show will run for 12 weeks and is already in it's second week top 11, so make sure you tune in and watch.

ART POP - LADY GAGA

LADY GAGA

The Fame, Fame Monster, & Born This Way 3 great pop/dance albums. I remember listening to Gaga before she hit mainstream. I have to be honest I didn't think she was going to make it, because her music at the time was to dance for mainstream and America was not ready for it. When I heard Just Dance on KISS FM and saw her at club Tiger Heat in Hollywood I knew she had made it. She has done a lot then most artist have and she has made her mark in pop culture. She has become a trend setter in fashion, art, and has become a gay icon. She has proven that no matter how many times you get that door slammed in your face, someone will open that door and invite you in. When she's not on stage or in the studio, you can find her fighting for human rights and the gay community. Very few people got her vision in her music and fashion, but I think all the club kids around the world got her. You can say that she has definitely pushed the envelope since Madonna in the 80's.

While on tour she had been writing and recording new music for her album ART POP that is to be release sometime this year. It is said that she has recorded 50 songs and is having a hard time picking what songs to release in the album. Due to this she has stated that she might release Art Pop in 2 parts, volume 1 being more pop mainstream and volume 2 a bit more underground glam techno hip hop. I don't  think I've ever been this excited for a mainstream artist to release an album. This album sounds like it's going to be more of my type of music (underground indie/electronic music is my style). I've grown to like pop music now because of the infusion of electro dance in it. Gaga one of the few artist who started this pop dance era in the US. I definitely can't wait to hear what her glam techno sounds like, Gaga this will be your year once again.

With this I leave you with the Judas music video
