Photostat Machine

Photostat Machine is this electro synth pop band from the great UK. They have this Depeche Mode/SoftCell/Ersure/Visage feel to them, very 80's but then again isn't that were the synth sound comes from. I remember discovering them on Sound Cloud when looking for new artist to listen to. As soon as I listened to their music I was hooked. Like I've said before I'm addicted to underground artists and really don't listen to mainstream pop but I do keep up with the music. I'm definitely more into the pop scene now that electronica and dance has take the US by storm. Once you listen to their music I'm sure you'll become a fan of there's. Just to name a few of my favorites like: Nothing Song, Something I know, Lately, Epic Fall, Rollover Die, & The Final Insult a few of the song I picked from their 3rd LP titled Preview/Transmission released in June 2012. My advice to you if you haven't already is to go check them out on Sound Cloud and Band Camp. Just a little heads up they're coming out with a new album soon and I can't wait. There's so much to know about this band and I think an interview with this duo is well over due on my end I think. With that said, I need not say more but that you need to head over to BandCamp stream and download a few of their songs. It's worth every penny I promise you, also Photostat Machine and I collaborated on a track I created and it turned out amazing. Barry Brandon

ATL'S night life starlet, he is a singer, song writer and promoter. He has recorded and released his first album titled ETCETERA (a collection of songs he's done over the years). This album has a alternative electro pop feel to it with great songs like Where Do I Go From Here, I.D.N.U., Electroglamourous Play Me On (Remix), Remember, & Back Where We Began just to name a few of my favorites on there. He has over come hard obstacles life has thrown at him and has worked hard to get where he is now. With the release of this album he has also started a new project called Sing For Your Life a web talent show on Youtube. It's like American Idol but more like ATL Idol, you can catch it every Thursday 8:00pm EST. This show will run for 12 weeks and is already in it's second week top 11, so make sure you tune in and watch.

ART POP - LADY GAGA

LADY GAGA

The Fame, Fame Monster, & Born This Way 3 great pop/dance albums. I remember listening to Gaga before she hit mainstream. I have to be honest I didn't think she was going to make it, because her music at the time was to dance for mainstream and America was not ready for it. When I heard Just Dance on KISS FM and saw her at club Tiger Heat in Hollywood I knew she had made it. She has done a lot then most artist have and she has made her mark in pop culture. She has become a trend setter in fashion, art, and has become a gay icon. She has proven that no matter how many times you get that door slammed in your face, someone will open that door and invite you in. When she's not on stage or in the studio, you can find her fighting for human rights and the gay community. Very few people got her vision in her music and fashion, but I think all the club kids around the world got her. You can say that she has definitely pushed the envelope since Madonna in the 80's.

While on tour she had been writing and recording new music for her album ART POP that is to be release sometime this year. It is said that she has recorded 50 songs and is having a hard time picking what songs to release in the album. Due to this she has stated that she might release Art Pop in 2 parts, volume 1 being more pop mainstream and volume 2 a bit more underground glam techno hip hop. I don't  think I've ever been this excited for a mainstream artist to release an album. This album sounds like it's going to be more of my type of music (underground indie/electronic music is my style). I've grown to like pop music now because of the infusion of electro dance in it. Gaga one of the few artist who started this pop dance era in the US. I definitely can't wait to hear what her glam techno sounds like, Gaga this will be your year once again.

With this I leave you with the Judas music video
